Build your stay around a focused museum visit, time in the Oltrarno and afternoons left open. We check the hotel's location, room access and the distance between your chosen stops. A day outside Florence can be discussed without assuming a countryside hotel.

For city discoveries followed by a country stay
Our example gives you four nights in Florence and three at one Chianti hotel, with only one hotel change. Siena is an outing from the country base, not another check-in. One food or wine experience sits alongside time to enjoy the hotel.

We compare the setting, room access, meals at or near the hotel and the journeys to your chosen outings. A country address needs a plan for dinner and getting home, not just an appealing view.
Keep Siena as a considered outing
In the example, a private excursion returns you to the same Chianti hotel. We agree the walking, guide format, admissions and transport before booking, then leave time to relax afterward.
Less walking, no wine focus, or more free afternoons? Tell us. We can shorten visits, choose a cooking experience instead of a tasting, or adjust the nights. The route and price are revised together.

Keep it. Share your address, dates and existing bookings; we plan the remaining visits, restaurant choices and connections around them. Our proposal separates the planning and support fee from any new travel arrangements.

Can you plan just Florence, without a countryside stay?
Yes. We plan Florence-only stays and work around existing hotels or flights. Your number of nights, visits, transport and support are quoted for that scope. The eight-day budgets on this page cover four nights in Florence and three in Chianti; they are not a price for a Florence-only stay.
Do we need to rent a car?
Not automatically. We compare the exact hotel locations, outings, luggage and walking needs before choosing transport. In the Florence & Chianti example, private transfers connect the stays and agreed vehicles serve the countryside outings. That does not mean a driver is on standby every day or that every journey is included.
Are the Uffizi, Accademia and cathedral dome all included?
No. The sample proposes a focused Uffizi visit; the Accademia and a cathedral dome climb are not part of its core itinerary. If either matters to you, we discuss a replacement visit or additional time, assess access and walking demands, and price the relevant admissions before booking.
Do you actually book the hotels, restaurants and visits?
Yes. After your approval, we arrange the agreed hotel, restaurant reservation requests, visits and ground transport. Your proposal identifies the exact scope, price, payment schedule and cancellation conditions. International flights stay booked directly by you, with route and timing guidance available.
What if we do not drink wine or want a gentler pace?
We adapt the plan. A cooking experience can replace a wine visit, and museum time, walks and transfers can be adjusted around your comfort. Tell us about dietary needs, stair limits and any mobility equipment so the relevant arrangements can be checked. Changes are agreed and priced before booking.
Will we have help during our stay?
Yes. Your neighborhood welcome over coffee is included, and Fred is available 24/7 by message during your trip for any question or request. Local hosts and partners help deliver the agreed arrangements. This is personal support, not an accompanying guide or an emergency response service; extra bookings or changes can carry costs.
