“I do not usually write a review regarding a trip that I have not yet completed. However, my experience with Chic-Trip to date has caused me to alter that course. I came across Chic-Trip, a Paris based travel site, while searching for travel tips on what to see during an upcoming two-week trip to Paris. There were so many “must see” locations that I could not hope to organize a trip that would include even the majority of the historic sites and museums that I had identified. And that is where Chic-Trip came in. Being a new travel site on the web I approached the owner, Fredric, with my usual degree of caution. After doing my “due diligence” research I committed to have Chic-Trip design a custom itinerary for me. What I have received thus far is an extensive 13-day itinerary, with each day starting out from my hotel in Vincennes with directions to a specific area in Paris where I can visit two or three of my chosen sites, all within walking distance of each other. Chic-Trip also included recommended dining locations for each day of my trip. My communication with Chic-Trip has been excellent, especially considering the 10-hour difference in our time zones. The initial itinerary that I received has been edited to further define what I want to see and when I want to see it. At this point I give Chic-Trip 10 stars for organization and communication. Stay tuned and I will write a further review mid-trip and a final review upon my return home to Portland, OR.”

“Just a quick update regarding my review of Chic-Trip. We are a little more than two weeks out from our departure to Paris. The communication with Fredric at Chic-Trip continues to be excellent. Our itinerary has been tweaked a couple of times to add additional items that Fredric has recommended. It now contains more than 80 locations during 13 days that will be doable only because each day concentrates on a specific area and the locations are all within walking distance of each other. Walking directions between locations are provided at the touch of a finger on the Chic-Trip App. With Fredric’s assistance I was able to add very cost-effective metro tickets and an eSIM card to my phone. One word of advice: Chic-Trip will provide website addresses to all historical sites and restaurants so that necessary reservations can be made. I opted to make the reservations myself. The time required to make all of the reservations was much greater than I had anticipated. If I had to do it over, I would certainly consider having Chic-Trip make the reservations for me, an option that Chic-Trip offers at a reasonable cost. As I expect to have a very busy two weeks in Paris, I will wait until my return to Portland, OR before submitting a final review.”

“My wife and I have returned from Paris totally enamored by the city. The itinerary prepared for us by Chic-Trip hit all of our "must see" locations as well as venues, restaurants and cafes "off the beaten path" that we would never have discovered on our own. And Chic-Trip’s involvement does not end with your arrival in Paris. During our two weeks in Paris, we had one occasion where a restaurant was closed and one occasion where a museum was "unexpectantly closed due to technical reasons." On each occasion Chic-Trip immediately stepped up and filled the void in our itinerary with equally desirable locations. To wrap up this review succinctly, I will say that if you are a first-time visitor to Paris as we were or are a tourist returning to experience Paris once again, having Chic-Trip prepare a personalized itinerary will save you countless hours of research and will maximize your enjoyment on each day of your trip.”
