The coast alone, or Naples and the coast?
A city chapter and a sea-view pause offer different experiences. We start with the nights you have, your walking comfort and what you most want to enjoy, not a list of places to collect.
One coast base
For a shorter break or more time to stay put
Choose one coast hotel around the days you want: local town time, a selected outing or simply an afternoon at the hotel. We check the exact address and arrival access before choosing the base, rather than promising that every town is an easy ferry hop away.
A coast-only stay receives its own itinerary, transport plan and quote. The Naples & coast budgets below do not automatically apply.
Naples + the Amalfi Coast
For city culture, Pompeii and an unhurried coast stay
Our example starts with three nights in Naples, then four in one coast hotel. Pompeii has its own day before the hotel move. There is one hotel change, a completely free coast day and a separate boat outing if operating conditions allow.
This is the route covered by the eight-day, seven-night example and its three indicative budgets below.
Choose an address, not only a view
Positano's slopes and stairs can shape every outing. An Amalfi or Minori address may suit different priorities, but access still depends on the property. We check road drop-off, luggage handling, room access, lifts and the actual route to dinner or the pier. Sea views, balconies and beach access are not assumed.
Ravello and Sorrento mean different days
Ravello sits above the coast, so reaching a boat requires a connection down to a departure point. Sorrento is a separate peninsula base, not a town on the Amalfi Coast. Either can be considered, but the choice changes the transport, outings and quote.
Plan the whole connection
Naples and Salerno can be rail gateways, not the end of the journey to your coast hotel. There is no direct train to Amalfi or Positano. We compare the actual station, road or boat connection, luggage and final hotel access. Ferry routes, dates and sea conditions are checked for your trip; a fast train time is not a door-to-door promise.
More Naples, less walking, a different coast town or extra time at the hotel? We can change the route, swap a visit or add nights, then agree the revised plan and cost. A new stop is not added silently to an already full day.

Can we stay only on the coast?
Yes. A coast-only stay can be planned around one hotel and the outings you choose. It receives its own duration, transport plan and quote. The eight-day example and the budgets shown here are specifically for three nights in Naples plus four on the Amalfi Coast, not a price for any coast holiday.
Is Capri included in the example?
No. The proposed boat outing explores the coast and is not a Capri trip. Capri can replace the free day or be considered with extra time, after checking the departure point, connections, walking, weather exposure and revised cost. We do not add it automatically to the same boat outing.
How do the Pompeii visit and hotel move fit together?
Pompeii is a dedicated outing from Naples on day 3, with a return to the same hotel. The move to the coast is on day 4, without another attraction added that day. We discuss the archaeological route, terrain, heat and breaks before confirming the visit. Herculaneum is an alternative, not a second site silently added to the day.
What happens if boats cannot operate?
The sample's day 7 boat outing depends on weather, the selected vessel and the operator's conditions. We discuss a land-based alternative and any price difference in advance. No free equivalent replacement or universal refund is promised; the written proposal identifies the actual booking and cancellation terms.
When should we visit, and can we connect with Rome?
We choose dates around the stay you want and check actual hotel, restaurant and boat opening schedules. There is no single ferry season guaranteed for every route. A Rome connection can be planned using Naples or Salerno as an onward gateway, with time for luggage and the final hotel transfer. Trains and an extra city stay are included only when expressly quoted.

Yes. Share the address, dates and reservations so we can plan the remaining visits, restaurants and transport around them. Your proposal separates our service fee from new travel arrangements.
