Comparable total = quoted trip total + extras still to pay + other compulsory charges not already included. Use the same currency and the same number of travelers and nights for both options. Enter whole-trip totals, not nightly or per-person amounts.
Check hotel and room category, breakfast, private versus shared tours, admission tickets, airport and intercity transport, meals, taxes, planning and in-trip support. A lower price may cover less. Confirm the scope in writing before drawing a conclusion.
If a supplier commission or service charge is already part of the quoted total, adding it again would overstate what you pay. Ask what is included and what remains payable. This calculator does not assume a commission rate or claim another provider has hidden charges.
Use one hypothetical cancellation date and ask each provider for the amount you would lose on that date. Leave the field blank when unknown. Illustrative arithmetic, not market pricing: a quote of 8,000 plus 700 of extras and 100 of compulsory charges totals 8,800. Another quote of 8,600 with zero additional costs totals 8,600. The second is 200 lower only if the trip inclusions are comparable.
