How Many Days in Florence?

Plan two full days, normally three nights, for a first visit. One day is a highlights sprint; three days lets the Uffizi and Accademia coexist with neighborhoods and slower evenings.

Is one day enough?

It is enough for the historic center plus one timed anchor. It is not enough for both major museums, the Duomo, Oltrarno and a leisurely meal.

What fits in two days?

Use one day for the cathedral area and Accademia, and one for the Uffizi, Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio and Oltrarno. Exact closures decide the order.

Does a Tuscany day trip count?

No. Siena, Chianti, Lucca or the Val d’Orcia needs an additional day and should not replace one of the two full Florence days.
