What it was
A small covered market in the Haut Marais, ringed with food stalls: Moroccan tagines, Japanese bento, Lebanese plates, Italian sandwiches, oysters in season. Locals shopped for produce in the morning and the whole neighborhood came for lunch at its shared tables.
