Arles Amphitheatre

Tip: Circle part of the exterior before deciding whether to climb inside.
Roman Theatre
The stage area and remaining columns reveal a more intimate form of Roman spectacle.
Tip: The exterior overview is useful even if you save admission for another visit.
Place de la République and Roman Obelisk
An ancient monument reset inside Arles's civic square links the Roman city to its later cathedral quarter.
Tip: Use the square to orient yourself; the underground Roman remains need separate access.
Cryptoportiques Entrance
Beneath today's town hall lies part of the structural base of the Roman forum.
