Hôtel d'Heidelbach Garden
Begin in an intimate Japanese-inspired garden attached to the Musée Guimet's Buddhist collections.
Tip: Check opening arrangements before coming; the garden is a bonus rather than a guaranteed shortcut.
Place du Costa Rica
A broad terrace announces the height of Passy above the Seine and opens a long perspective toward the Eiffel Tower.
Tip: Pause at the balustrade before entering the quieter streets behind it.
Passage des Eaux
A steep stairway recalls the springs and water carriers that once connected old Passy to the river below.
Tip: A parallel street provides an alternative if stairs are unsuitable.
Maison de Balzac
Balzac worked here under a borrowed name, sheltered from creditors in a house tucked into the slope.
Tip: The garden and café are part of the pleasure; verify museum hours before planning an interior visit.
Rue Berton
This narrow cobbled lane preserves the scale and atmosphere of the former village of Passy.
Tip: Keep voices low and give residents priority in the narrowest section.
Square Charles Dickens
Finish in a small elevated garden above the Seine, close enough to the river for an easy independent continuation.
