Your days, at your pace
Illustrative days, not fixed dates. Opening days, transfers and your preferences will shape the final order.
- Avignon
- Luberon
- Gordes
- Roussillon
- L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue
Day 1: Arrive in Avignon
Avignon
Plan a transfer from the agreed station or airport to your Avignon hotel. A short neighborhood walk and nearby dinner keep arrival day simple; the actual transfer time depends on your travel arrangements.
- Proposed arrival transfer
- Neighborhood and restaurant planning
Time for yourself: Rest after travel before deciding whether to take a short walk.
Day 2: Avignon's historic heart
Avignon
Make the Palais des Papes the main proposed visit, with admission and guide format to be confirmed. Pause for lunch in the old town, then choose a gentle outdoor stroll or time at the hotel.
- Proposed Palais des Papes visit
- Old-town lunch and dinner selection
Time for yourself: The later afternoon is unscheduled so you can rest after the interior visit.
Day 3: Into the Luberon
Luberon
Move to one countryside hotel for the next four nights, with a proposed stop in Gordes if your arrival and mobility suit it. Private transport is the starting proposal for this part of the route; the hotel location and driving time still need to be selected.
- Proposed transfer to the Luberon base
- Optional en-route village stop within the agreed transfer plan
Time for yourself: Keep the afternoon for settling into the country hotel, without a second excursion.
Day 4: Roussillon, then time to unwind
Luberon
Explore Roussillon on a short village outing, with lunch planned nearby. We will check slopes, surfaces and any desired paid trail separately; a village visit does not automatically include an extended walk.
- Proposed village outing and transport
- Lunch selection near the route
Time for yourself: Return to your hotel for a quiet afternoon; swimming or spa facilities depend on the selected property.
Day 5: Local flavors, chosen with you
Luberon
Build the morning around a proposed producer visit or cooking experience. Its format, food content and provider remain to be quoted. A market visit is possible only if its operating day fits your dates; it is not a guaranteed daily fixture.
- Proposed local food experience, format to be agreed
- Restaurant planning around the experience
Time for yourself: Leave the afternoon free for the hotel, a book or an easy stroll close to your base.
Day 6: L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue at leisure
Luberon
Propose a final outing to L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, with time beside the water and lunch in town. Shops and markets depend on the day of your visit. Return before dinner instead of adding another village.
- Proposed town outing and transport
- Farewell restaurant selection and reservation request
Time for yourself: Keep the later afternoon for rest and packing at your country hotel.
Day 7: Leave Provence comfortably
Luberon
A proposed transfer connects your hotel with the agreed departure station or airport. The final endpoint and buffer will follow your actual tickets; no sightseeing stop is assumed on the way.
- Proposed departure transfer
- Connection planning
Time for yourself: Take a quiet breakfast if your onward schedule allows it.
What this example covers
- Editorial sample only: seven days and six nights are proposed, subject to a complete tailored quote
- Proposed hotel stays, key transfers and outings listed in the daily plan
- Restaurant selection and reservation requests matched to your tastes and day's route
- Your personalized itinerary and confirmed arrangements in the Chic Trip app
- Planning and support with a service scope agreed before booking
Quoted separately or excluded
- International flights, rail to or from the region unless expressly quoted, and travel insurance
- Meals, drinks, restaurant deposits and optional tastings unless itemized in the proposal
- Unlisted village excursions, spa treatments, hotel upgrades and personal spending
- A lavender-field excursion or a guarantee of flowering
- Supplier rates, driving times, seasonal operations and cancellation terms remain to be confirmed
Make it yours
- Other Provence highlights you could add or swap in: a lavender outing is not in the main itinerary; if season and location work, replace a village day and review the driving and cost
- Replace the food experience with a wine-focused outing, subject to a revised quote
- The Riviera is not included; adding it requires extra nights or fewer Luberon days, another transfer and a new quote
- Keep one hotel throughout if fewer changes matter more than shortening each outing
Finding your hotel
- Proposed split: two nights in Avignon and four in one Luberon country hotel
- Boutique town hotel and characterful country house, with one hotel change
- Air conditioning, lifts, pool access and room details will be checked at the chosen properties
