4 nights · Two adults sharing one double room.

Charm

A characterful Bayeux base and a focused history outing; tailored quote required.

  • 4 nights in Bayeux: Proposed characterful boutique hotel. Classic double room for two; category and access confirmed before booking. Area to consider: One central address chosen for practical access and quiet evenings.
  • Proposed shared or private D-Day guiding on day 2, with the format confirmed for Omaha Beach and the cemetery only. A measured Bayeux introduction on day 3; any selected museum replaces part of the walk. The Tapestry is not included. Transport: Return transport for day 2 must be explicitly quoted and confirmed; do not rely on an unverified public bus or direct cemetery-to-beach path. Paris, rail and airport connections are excluded unless itemized. No daily driver is included, and day 4 has no scheduled transport.

Signature

A refined Bayeux room, private guiding and a planned D-Day vehicle block; tailored quote required.

  • 4 nights in Bayeux: Proposed refined boutique hotel. Superior or deluxe double room for two, subject to the chosen property's categories. Area to consider: One Bayeux address selected for atmosphere, room comfort and access.
  • Proposed private D-Day guiding on day 2, limited to Omaha Beach and the Normandy American Cemetery. Proposed private Bayeux culture guiding on day 3, with any museum selected instead of part of the walk. The Tapestry is not included. Transport: One proposed private return vehicle block for day 2, with pickup, breaks, waiting and separate beach access specified in the quote. Paris, rail and airport connections are excluded unless itemized. No daily driver is included, and day 4 remains entirely free.

Exceptional

More room to relax and specialist guiding from the same Bayeux base; tailored quote required.

  • 4 nights in Bayeux: Proposed distinctive hotel with an enhanced room category. Junior suite, suite or the best suitable larger room available; exact category to be agreed. Area to consider: One distinctive Bayeux address, without moving to a distant countryside base.
  • Proposed specialist D-Day guiding for the same two sites on day 2; no extra beaches or special access are guaranteed. Proposed specialist Bayeux culture guiding on day 3, preserving the free day. The Tapestry is not included. Transport: One proposed premium private return vehicle block for day 2, with time and access conditions expressly quoted. Paris, rail and airport connections are excluded unless itemized. No daily driver is included and no outing is scheduled on day 4.

The hotel and room shown belong to that proposed style; further changes beyond it are quoted separately. A private guide does not mean private access to a venue.

These hotel and experience styles are starting points, not confirmed offers or guaranteed availability. Dates, season, room choice and experiences affect the final total. International flights and meals excluded unless specified.

What we confirm before you book

These are proposed configurations, not confirmed bookings. Your written proposal names the hotels, room categories, guides, admissions and transport, with the complete price and cancellation conditions for your dates. A private guide does not mean private access to a venue. Requests depend on availability; no special entrance, room feature or restaurant table is guaranteed.

Hotel categories describe the selection we would propose, not a confirmed property. Room size, bed setup, views, air conditioning, lifts, step-free access, breakfast, taxes and facilities are checked for the actual hotel and room.

Optional enhancements are outside the configuration shown until selected and priced in your proposal. International flights, ordinary restaurant meals, drinks and table deposits are separate unless expressly itemized. A tasting or class includes only the food and drinks listed in the proposal.

Tell Fred about your wishes

One Bayeux base, room for the stories that matter

Five days, four nights. One Bayeux hotel.

Arrive and settle in, spend one focused day at Omaha Beach and the Normandy American Cemetery, enjoy a gentler Bayeux day, then keep a full free day before departure. No hotel changes in this example.

A D-Day day shaped around your interests

We discuss your interests and any family connection before proposing a guide and the return transport. Omaha Beach and the cemetery are separate stops, not a promised walk down from the cemetery. Other beaches or museums replace part of the day or need extra time.

Charm, Signature and Exceptional all require a tailored quote. Your dates, room, guide and transport determine the written proposal; this example sets no fixed package price or deposit. The PDF uses the same programme.

Mont-Saint-Michel, Honfleur and Rouen are separate choices

None is an automatic addition to this five-day stay. Discuss a replacement or an extension, with the driving, hotel nights and tailored quote revised together. Day four remains entirely free unless you choose to change it.

Train travel to Bayeux still needs a connection to your hotel and separate coastal transport. Check walking distances, uneven ground, weather and site access with Fred before confirmation. No daily driver or all-beaches tour is assumed.

Checked October 22, 2026: the Bayeux Tapestry Museum announces closure until autumn 2027. The original tapestry is not included in this programme. Recheck the official reopening information for your dates. Official museum information

Choose your next step

Your days, at your pace

Illustrative days, not fixed dates. Opening days, transfers and your preferences will shape the final order.

  1. Bayeux
  2. Omaha Beach
  3. Normandy American Cemetery

Day 1: Arrive and settle into Bayeux

Bayeux

Settle into the same Bayeux hotel for all four nights. An included welcome coffee and a short introduction to your neighborhood help you find your bearings, timed around your arrival and energy. Paris connections, rail tickets and airport transfers are not included unless expressly itemized in your quote.

  • Included welcome coffee, with timing agreed for your arrival
  • Neighborhood orientation and dinner planning

Time for yourself: Leave the rest of the arrival day open for rest, an easy stroll or an early night.

Day 2: Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery

Bayeux

Make one focused D-Day outing to Omaha Beach and the Normandy American Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer, returning to Bayeux. The guide format, return transport, breaks and access conditions need confirmation for your dates. This is not a tour of all five landing beaches; the beach and cemetery use separate public access, not a direct walking path between them.

  • Proposed focused Omaha Beach and Normandy American Cemetery visit
  • Guide and return transport scope to be confirmed in your quote

Time for yourself: Allow quiet time between the two sites and an unhurried evening back in Bayeux.

Day 3: Bayeux culture, with time to pause

Bayeux

Explore the cathedral area, historic streets and the Aure riverside at a pace that suits you. Cathedral entry depends on opening and services. A selected museum may replace part of the walk if available and quoted. Checked October 22, 2026: the Bayeux Tapestry Museum is closed for renovation until autumn 2027. The Tapestry is not included; reopening and access must be rechecked for your dates.

  • Proposed Bayeux culture and neighborhood visit
  • Any selected museum admission or guiding confirmed separately

Time for yourself: Keep the later afternoon for a cafe, local shops or a proper break at your hotel.

Day 4: A full day entirely at your own pace

Bayeux

Today is completely free, with no scheduled visit, guide or transport. Enjoy your Bayeux base however you choose. Mont-Saint-Michel, Honfleur and Rouen are not built into this day: any such trip would be a separately agreed replacement or extension with its own transport and quote.

  • Restaurant selection and approved reservation requests if wanted
  • Chic Trip app and message support during your trip

Time for yourself: The whole day is yours, with no compulsory activity or automatic excursion added.

Day 5: Leave Bayeux without a rushed final visit

Bayeux

Plan departure around your actual onward tickets and the agreed hotel checkout. No last sightseeing stop is assumed. Rail travel to Paris, airport connections and departure transfers require their own confirmed arrangements and are included only when your tailored quote explicitly lists them.

  • Departure planning around your confirmed arrangements
  • Confirmed connection details in your trip plan

Time for yourself: Enjoy a final breakfast or short neighborhood stroll only if your travel schedule allows.

What this example covers

  • Editorial sample only: five days and four nights in one Bayeux hotel, subject to a complete tailored quote
  • An included welcome coffee, with the timing agreed around your arrival
  • Proposed hotel stay, focused D-Day outing and Bayeux visit as specifically confirmed in your quote
  • Restaurant selection with three options for each lunch and dinner; reservation requests after your approval, subject to restaurant confirmation
  • Your itinerary and confirmed arrangements in the Chic Trip app
  • Fred available by message 24/7 during your trip; no daily escort or driver is implied

Quoted separately or excluded

  • International flights, Paris connections, rail tickets and airport transfers unless expressly itemized in the final quote
  • Meals and drinks, restaurant deposits and cancellation charges unless specifically included
  • The Bayeux Tapestry: checked October 22, 2026, the museum is closed until autumn 2027; reopening and access require a fresh check
  • Mont-Saint-Michel, Honfleur, Rouen, other landing beaches and unlisted museums or excursions
  • A daily driver, guaranteed special access, unconfirmed guides and any unlisted transport
  • Travel insurance, personal spending, gratuities and any unconfirmed supplier costs; no price or deposit is published for this example

Make it yours

  • Other Normandy highlights you could add or swap in: Mont-Saint-Michel, Honfleur or Rouen require a distinct replacement or extra nights, revised transport and a new quote; none is automatically added to the free day
  • Choose a shorter D-Day route or specialist guiding after reviewing walking surfaces, weather exposure and your interests
  • Replace part of the Bayeux walk with one available museum, with admission and opening confirmed separately
  • Add Paris or airport connections only through an expressly itemized quote, keeping the four Bayeux nights unless the duration is revised

Finding your hotel

  • Four nights in one Bayeux hotel for every proposed configuration; no hotel changes
  • Hotel character, room space and access needs guide the choice, without a promised property or star category
  • The exact hotel, room, breakfast, taxes and availability require a tailored quote
