Your first conversation is free. Personal planning is a paid service, quoted for the work you need. We may also receive commission from a cruise operator when we arrange a booking. That does not mean every part of your trip is free to plan.

Your agreed scope can cover cruise selection and booking, a day-by-day land itinerary, restaurant suggestions and reservations, and access to your itinerary in the app. Our coffee and neighborhood welcome is included with a Paris personal planning stay.
Travel costs: itemized in your proposal
The cruise, hotels, airport meet-and-greet and transfers, tickets and guides are priced separately or explicitly included in your package. Restaurant meals are paid separately. Nothing is reserved without your approval.
Your proposal makes the total and any separately charged service fees clear, without adding the same fee twice. We distinguish existing bookings from new arrangements. Deposits, payment dates and cancellation conditions are confirmed before you commit.

Can you book the cruise for us?
Yes. We help you select a suitable river cruise and arrange the reservation for you after you approve the written offer. We confirm the operator’s booking conditions, traveler eligibility, availability and payment arrangements first. Sending an enquiry does not reserve a cabin or commit you to a purchase.
Can you compare different cruise options?
We help you assess a selection of relevant sailings, cabin categories, inclusions and conditions. We are not a whole-market comparison service. Booking access, eligibility and availability are checked before we offer to reserve a particular option.
What if I already booked my cruise elsewhere?
You can keep that reservation and ask us to plan the days around it. Share the ship, ports, dates and confirmed arrival requirements. We do not assume that your reservation can be transferred or that Chic Trip can change its terms.
Do you plan all European cruises?
This service focuses on river cruises in France and the stays around them. If you have another European route in mind, tell us. We will confirm whether it is within our scope before accepting planning work.
Can you help American travelers?
Yes, our personal travel planning serves American travelers. For a cruise booking, we separately check the operator’s residence, market, currency and booking conditions before quoting. Do not assume that a European fare is available to every traveler.
Are flights, meals and excursions included?
Only the items expressly listed in your proposal are included. We help coordinate your flight timing with the land itinerary; flights are not automatically included. Cruise meals and excursions depend on the selected fare. Restaurants and visits during your extra days are set out separately.
Who looks after us during the trip?
Fred is your Chic Trip contact for the arrangements we plan. Your itinerary and practical details are organized in our app. We agree the support scope before booking; the cruise operator remains responsible for onboard operations and its own guest services.
How much does your service cost?
The first conversation is free. Planning fees depend on the scope and are agreed before detailed work starts. We may receive operator commission on bookings we arrange. Your written proposal explains what you pay, what is included and the applicable payment and cancellation terms.
