These Terms of Sale ("Agreement") govern the purchase of "The Hybrid" travel procurement service from Chic Trip. By completing your purchase, you ("Client" or "you") agree to these terms.
IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ALL OF THESE TERMS, THEN YOU ARE EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED FROM PURCHASING THE SERVICES AND YOU MUST NOT PROCEED WITH PAYMENT.

1. SERVICE DESCRIPTION & AGENT APPOINTMENT
The Hybrid is a cost-optimized travel procurement service where you appoint Chic Trip as your authorized procurement agent to manage travel logistics and execute bookings to third-party providers on your behalf.
1.1 What The Hybrid Includes
Upon payment, Chic Trip shall provide the following services:
· Customized Itinerary Planning: A comprehensive day-by-day Paris itinerary tailored to your preferences, interests, budget, and travel style
· Digital Pocket Companion: Access to the Chic Trip proprietary app containing curated recommendations, maps, logistics, and your personalized itinerary
· Procurement Agent Services: Chic Trip executes all reservations on your behalf using the Disbursement Mandate model (see Section 2)
· Booking Management: Professional execution of bookings for hotels, restaurants, and transportation based on your approved preferences
· Business Hours Support: Access to the Chic Trip team during standard French business hours (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM CET, Monday-Friday) for logistical support and booking modifications
· Pre-Trip Guidance: Preparation materials, practical tips, and answers to your questions before departure
1.2 Agent-Based Procurement Model
The Hybrid operates under a Disbursement Mandate structure:
· You appoint Chic Trip as your authorized procurement agent
· Chic Trip acts exclusively in your interest to source the best available rates
· Chic Trip does not "sell" travel services; we facilitate your purchase directly with providers
· All funds you transfer to Chic Trip are held in trust and used exclusively to pay third-party providers
· You are the direct customer of hotels, restaurants, and service providers—not a customer of Chic Trip
2. DISBURSEMENT MANDATE & ZERO MARKUP GUARANTEE
2.1 What Is a Disbursement Mandate?
A Disbursement Mandate authorizes Chic Trip to:
· Receive funds from you for the purpose of booking travel services
· Hold those funds in a trust account (segregated from Chic Trip's operating accounts)
· Disburse funds directly to hotels, restaurants, airlines, and other service providers on your behalf
· Provide full accounting and transparency of all transactions
This model ensures absolute transparency and zero markup on all travel costs.
2.2 Zero Markup Commitment
Chic Trip guarantees that all third-party services are procured at net provider rates with ZERO markup added:
· Hotel rates are charged at the provider's net daily rate
· Restaurant reservations are at standard menu prices
· Transportation tickets are at published carrier rates
· Activities and attractions are at venue pricing
You will always pay the exact same amount whether you book directly with the provider or through Chic Trip's procurement agent services.
2.3 Accounting Transparency
Upon request, Chic Trip will provide:
· Full itemized receipts from all providers showing exact amounts paid
· Detailed booking confirmations with provider contact information
· Complete accounting of all disbursements
· Proof of payment for every service booked
You have the right to audit all transactions and verify that net rates were applied.
3. PRICING: MANAGEMENT FEE & TRAVEL COSTS
3.1 Chic Trip Management Fee (Only Revenue Retained)
· Fixed Management Fee: $20 USD per day, per traveler
· Calculation Example: 4-day Paris trip for 2 travelers = $160 USD total management fee
· What This Covers: Itinerary planning, procurement agent services, booking execution, app access, business hours support
This is the ONLY revenue Chic Trip retains from your transaction.
3.2 Third-Party Service Costs (Pass-Through)
You are responsible for the actual cost of all booked services:
· Accommodations: Full hotel rates as quoted by the property (no markup)
· Dining: Restaurant prices as charged by establishments (no markup)
· Transportation: Train, flight, and transfer bookings at published carrier rates (no markup)
· Activities & Attractions: Ticket prices as set by venues (no markup)
· Ancillary Charges: Tips, gratuities, parking fees, hotel incidentals, service charges
These costs are disbursed directly to providers and billed separately from the management fee.
3.3 Affiliate Commission Disclosure & Transparency
Chic Trip may receive referral commissions from certain service providers, booking platforms, or tourism boards when bookings are made through our procurement channels. These commissions:
· Are paid exclusively by the vendors to Chic Trip
· DO NOT increase the price you pay - you receive the same net rate
· Are separately disclosed in your booking documentation
· Represent a standard practice in the travel industry
Important: Any affiliate commissions received do not reduce your management fee. The $20/day fee is fixed regardless of commissions earned.

4. PAYMENT & DISBURSEMENT PROCESS
4.1 Payment Authorization & Structure
Service Fee Payment:
· Payment method: Credit card via Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
· Amount: $20 USD per day, per traveler
· Timing: Due at time of booking The Hybrid
Third-Party Service Payments:
· You authorize Chic Trip to charge your payment method for all approved bookings
· Funds are held in a segregated trust account pending disbursement to providers
· Disbursement occurs within 2 business days of booking confirmation
· You may alternatively provide direct payment links for providers if preferred
4.2 Payment Methods & Currency
· Currency: USD for Chic Trip management fee; Booking currency per provider (EUR, USD, etc.)
· Payment Processing: Stripe-secured payment gateway
· Card Information: Stripe processes all payments; Chic Trip does not store full card details
· Backup Verification: We retain authorization to charge for confirmed bookings per your explicit approval
4.3 Foreign Transaction Fees
You are solely responsible for any foreign transaction fees or currency conversion charges applied by your banking institution. Chic Trip is not responsible for these costs.
4.4 Funding Requirement for Booking Execution
Chic Trip is not obligated to execute any booking until:
· The required funds have been provided by you via authorized payment method, OR
· A valid credit card authorization has been approved for the full booking amount
If funds are insufficient or payment authorization fails, bookings will not be executed until payment is received.
5. BOOKING PROCESS & APPROVAL
5.1 Planning & Approval Timeline
Week 1 - Initial Consultation:
· You complete an in-depth travel profile questionnaire
· Chic Trip conducts intake call (optional) to clarify preferences and budget
Week 2 - Procurement Proposal:
· Chic Trip sources options and proposes bookings aligned with your preferences
· You receive detailed booking proposals with net rates and itemized costs
· You review and approve proposed bookings
Week 3 - Execution & Confirmation:
· Upon your written approval, Chic Trip charges your payment method
· Chic Trip executes all bookings with providers
· You receive booking confirmations for each service
· Funds are disbursed to providers within 2 business days
Week 4 - App Activation & Final Prep:
· Chic Trip app is activated with your complete itinerary
· You receive pre-trip guidance and practical information
5.2 Your Approval Authority
· You must explicitly approve all bookings before Chic Trip executes them
· Approval constitutes your authorization to charge your payment method
· Once approved and executed, bookings are subject to individual provider cancellation policies
· Any changes after execution are subject to provider modification terms
5.3 Booking Confirmations & Documentation
After each booking is executed, you will receive:
· Email confirmation with booking reference numbers
· Provider contact information and emergency numbers
· Itemized receipt showing net rate charged
· Terms and conditions of each booking
· Copy stored in your Chic Trip app
6. CANCELLATION, REFUNDS & LIABILITY
6.1 Chic Trip Management Fee - Non-Refundable
The Chic Trip management fee is non-refundable once itinerary planning has commenced or any bookings have been executed.
Refunds are not available for:
· Change of mind or trip cancellation
· Dissatisfaction with itinerary or recommendations
· Changes to your travel dates or plans
· Personal circumstances or emergencies
· Your decision not to travel
6.2 Third-Party Service Refunds & Cancellations
Chic Trip is not responsible for provider refund policies. Each hotel, restaurant, and service provider has independent cancellation terms:
· Your Responsibility: Direct disputes or refund requests with providers
· Chic Trip's Role: We assist with communication and rebooking coordination
· Non-Refundable Bookings: Many establishments have non-refundable rates
· Cancellation Policies: You are bound by each vendor's stated terms
We strongly recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance to protect against your own cancellations.
6.3 Provider Performance & Service Quality
Chic Trip acts as your procurement agent only and is NOT liable for:
· Quality, cleanliness, service standards, or amenities of hotels
· Food quality, service standards, or cuisine of restaurants
· Service professionalism or performance of tour guides
· Airline delays, cancellations, overbooking, or lost baggage
· Attraction closures, restricted access, or operational changes
· Transportation delays, accidents, or service failures
· Any disputes or conflicts between you and any provider
Your recourse is directly with the service provider, not Chic Trip.
6.4 Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Chic Trip's total liability exceed the amount of the management fee you paid ($20 USD × number of days).
Chic Trip shall NOT be liable for:
· Indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages
· Lost revenue, travel expenses, or missed experiences
· Emotional distress or reputational harm
· Costs related to trip cancellations or service failures
· Third-party claims or disputes with providers
· Force majeure events (pandemics, natural disasters, political instability, terrorism)
6.5 Travel Insurance Requirement
You are strongly encouraged to purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering:
· Trip cancellation and interruption
· Medical and emergency evacuation
· Personal liability and property damage
· Baggage loss, theft, and delay
· Travel delay and missed connections
Travel insurance is your protection against financial loss; Chic Trip provides procurement and coordination services only.
7. OPERATIONAL SUPPORT & BUSINESS HOURS
7.1 Support Availability During Your Trip
· Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM CET, Monday-Friday
· Channels: Email, WhatsApp, phone
· Response Time: Within 2 hours during business hours
· Services: Booking modifications, logistical questions, minor itinerary adjustments, provider coordination
7.2 After Hours & Emergency Support
· Emergency contact available for critical issues (medical emergencies, security concerns, transportation failures)
· Non-emergency inquiries addressed when business hours resume
· Response to emergency emails within 30 minutes
7.3 Support Limitations
Chic Trip provides coordination and booking assistance only, not:
· Financial compensation for service failures
· Direct intervention or mediation with providers
· Replacement of services at no additional cost
· 24/7 concierge services
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & USAGE RIGHTS
8.1 Our Content Ownership
All content provided through The Hybrid—including the itinerary, curated recommendations, maps, guides, photography, descriptions, and proprietary procurement methodology—is the exclusive intellectual property of Chic Trip.
8.2 Your License Grant
You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to:
· Access and view your itinerary for personal trip planning
· Download and store one personal copy on your device
· Use the information to enjoy your trip
· Share your itinerary with immediate travel companions on the same trip
· Access the Chic Trip app for your trip logistics
8.3 Strict Prohibitions
You explicitly agree NOT to:
· Reproduce, copy, or duplicate the itinerary (in whole or part)
· Share, distribute, resell, or republish the content
· Post the itinerary or content on social media or public platforms
· Use the content for commercial purposes or competitive analysis
· Create derivative works based on Chic Trip's methodology
· Share access to the Chic Trip app with other users
· Use The Hybrid content to plan trips for others commercially
8.4 Consequences of Violation
Unauthorized use will result in:
· Immediate suspension of app access
· Legal action to enforce intellectual property rights
· Potential damages and injunctive relief
· Reporting to platforms for copyright violation
9. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES & ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
9.1 Your Responsibilities
You acknowledge and accept that:
· You will provide accurate information in your travel profile
· You will review and approve all bookings before execution
· You will honor all approved bookings and comply with provider policies
· You will arrange appropriate travel insurance
· You will verify visa and passport requirements for France
· You will maintain copies of all confirmations
· You will respect local laws and cultural norms
· You will immediately notify Chic Trip of any booking errors
9.2 Communication & Responsiveness
· Chic Trip may need to reach you for approval or updates during planning
· You commit to responding to requests within 24 hours
· Delays in your response may impact planning timelines
· Final approvals are locked once executed—changes subject to provider policies
9.3 Payment Authorization
By using The Hybrid, you authorize Chic Trip to:
· Charge your payment method for the management fee
· Charge your payment method for all approved third-party services
· Initiate refunds to your original payment method if applicable
· Process payments securely via Stripe
10. DATA PROTECTION & PRIVACY (GDPR)
10.1 Personal Data Collection
Chic Trip collects and processes:
· Name, email, phone number
· Travel profile information (preferences, budget, dietary restrictions)
· Payment information (processed via Stripe; NOT stored by Chic Trip)
· Booking and reservation details
· App usage data and technical logs
· Communication records
10.2 Legal Basis for Processing
Your data is processed for:
· Contract Performance: Providing The Hybrid service and managing bookings
· Explicit Consent: Marketing communications and service improvements
· Legal Compliance: Tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations
· Legitimate Interest: Service improvement and fraud prevention
10.3 Data Retention
Personal data retained for:
· During Service Period: Throughout booking execution and 12-month app access
· After Expiration: 3 years for tax and legal compliance
· App Logs: Deleted after 12 months of inactivity
· Marketing Communications: Until you unsubscribe
10.4 Data Sharing
Your data will NOT be sold or shared except:
· Payment Processing: Stripe (PCI-compliant)
· Cloud Infrastructure: Supabase (EU data centers)
· Booking Coordination: Providers (only as necessary)
· Legal Compliance: Tax authorities (if required)

All third-parties have signed Data Processing Agreements (DPA) complying with GDPR.

· Change pricing for future purchases
· Substitute provider recommendations if originals become unavailable
· Temporarily suspend services for maintenance
· Refuse service to users who violate these terms
Your continued use after notification indicates acceptance of modifications.
12. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
12.1 Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by French law and European Union law, independent of your location.
12.2 Jurisdiction
· For French/EU Residents: You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France
· For International Clients: You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of Paris courts for dispute resolution
· Consumer Protection: EU consumers retain rights under their country of residence's consumer protection laws
12.3 Language
These Terms are provided in English. Any translation is for convenience only; English version controls.
13. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
13.1 Informal Resolution (30 Days)
Before formal proceedings, parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation for at least 30 days.

13.4 Class Action Waiver

15. FINAL PROVISIONS
15.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the complete agreement between you and Chic Trip regarding The Hybrid. Any prior discussions or representations are superseded.
15.2 Amendment
Chic Trip may modify these Terms at any time. Modifications are effective upon email notification.
15.3 Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, that provision is severed while all other provisions remain in full effect.
15.4 No Waiver
Failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver of that right.
15.5 Non-Agency Relationship
No partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and Chic Trip beyond the procurement agent appointment in these Terms.
15.6 Electronic Communications
You consent to receive all legal notices and communications via email. Electronic communications satisfy all written notice requirements.
16. ITINERARY ACCESS DURATION
The digital itinerary (or itineraries) provided as part of this package shall remain accessible to the Client via the Chic Trip platform (chic-trip.com) for a period of eighteen (18) months from the date of payment confirmation.
After this 18-month period, access to the itinerary may be deactivated without prior notice. The Client is encouraged to download or export their itinerary in PDF format before the expiration of this access period.
This access duration applies to the digital consultation of the itinerary only and does not affect any PDF documents previously downloaded by the Client.
17. ACKNOWLEDGMENT & ACCEPTANCE
BY COMPLETING YOUR PURCHASE OF THE HYBRID, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE:
· You have read and fully understand these Terms
· You understand The Hybrid operates under a Disbursement Mandate model
· You understand Chic Trip acts as your procurement agent only
· You understand the management fee is non-refundable after planning commences
· You understand all third-party costs are billed at net provider rates with zero markup
· You understand third-party cancellation policies apply to all bookings
· You will obtain adequate travel insurance
· You assume responsibility for approving all bookings before execution
· You understand Chic Trip is not liable for provider performance
· You accept all limitations of liability stated herein
Your purchase constitutes legal acceptance of all terms stated above.

· Accommodations: Full hotel rates as quoted by the property (no markup)
· Dining: Restaurant prices as charged by establishments (no markup)
· Transportation: Train, flight, and transfer bookings at published carrier rates (no markup)
· Activities & Attractions: Ticket prices as set by venues (no markup)
· Ancillary Charges: Tips, gratuities, parking fees, hotel incidentals, service charges
These costs are disbursed directly to providers and billed separately from the management fee.
3.3 Affiliate Commission Disclosure & Transparency
Chic Trip may receive referral commissions from certain service providers, booking platforms, or tourism boards when bookings are made through our procurement channels. These commissions:
· Are paid exclusively by the vendors to Chic Trip
· DO NOT increase the price you pay - you receive the same net rate
· Are separately disclosed in your booking documentation
· Represent a standard practice in the travel industry
Important: Any affiliate commissions received do not reduce your management fee. The $20/day fee is fixed regardless of commissions earned.

4. PAYMENT & DISBURSEMENT PROCESS
4.1 Payment Authorization & Structure
Service Fee Payment:
· Payment method: Credit card via Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
· Amount: $20 USD per day, per traveler
· Timing: Due at time of booking The Hybrid
Third-Party Service Payments:
· You authorize Chic Trip to charge your payment method for all approved bookings
· Funds are held in a segregated trust account pending disbursement to providers
· Disbursement occurs within 2 business days of booking confirmation
· You may alternatively provide direct payment links for providers if preferred
4.2 Payment Methods & Currency
· Currency: USD for Chic Trip management fee; Booking currency per provider (EUR, USD, etc.)
· Payment Processing: Stripe-secured payment gateway
· Card Information: Stripe processes all payments; Chic Trip does not store full card details
· Backup Verification: We retain authorization to charge for confirmed bookings per your explicit approval
4.3 Foreign Transaction Fees
You are solely responsible for any foreign transaction fees or currency conversion charges applied by your banking institution. Chic Trip is not responsible for these costs.
4.4 Funding Requirement for Booking Execution
Chic Trip is not obligated to execute any booking until:
· The required funds have been provided by you via authorized payment method, OR
· A valid credit card authorization has been approved for the full booking amount
If funds are insufficient or payment authorization fails, bookings will not be executed until payment is received.
5. BOOKING PROCESS & APPROVAL
5.1 Planning & Approval Timeline
Week 1 - Initial Consultation:
· You complete an in-depth travel profile questionnaire
· Chic Trip conducts intake call (optional) to clarify preferences and budget
Week 2 - Procurement Proposal:
· Chic Trip sources options and proposes bookings aligned with your preferences
· You receive detailed booking proposals with net rates and itemized costs
· You review and approve proposed bookings
Week 3 - Execution & Confirmation:
· Upon your written approval, Chic Trip charges your payment method
· Chic Trip executes all bookings with providers
· You receive booking confirmations for each service
· Funds are disbursed to providers within 2 business days
Week 4 - App Activation & Final Prep:
· Chic Trip app is activated with your complete itinerary
· You receive pre-trip guidance and practical information
5.2 Your Approval Authority
· You must explicitly approve all bookings before Chic Trip executes them
· Approval constitutes your authorization to charge your payment method
· Once approved and executed, bookings are subject to individual provider cancellation policies
· Any changes after execution are subject to provider modification terms
5.3 Booking Confirmations & Documentation
After each booking is executed, you will receive:
· Email confirmation with booking reference numbers
· Provider contact information and emergency numbers
· Itemized receipt showing net rate charged
· Terms and conditions of each booking
· Copy stored in your Chic Trip app
6. CANCELLATION, REFUNDS & LIABILITY
6.1 Chic Trip Management Fee - Non-Refundable
The Chic Trip management fee is non-refundable once itinerary planning has commenced or any bookings have been executed.
Refunds are not available for:
· Change of mind or trip cancellation
· Dissatisfaction with itinerary or recommendations
· Changes to your travel dates or plans
· Personal circumstances or emergencies
· Your decision not to travel
6.2 Third-Party Service Refunds & Cancellations
Chic Trip is not responsible for provider refund policies. Each hotel, restaurant, and service provider has independent cancellation terms:
· Your Responsibility: Direct disputes or refund requests with providers
· Chic Trip's Role: We assist with communication and rebooking coordination
· Non-Refundable Bookings: Many establishments have non-refundable rates
· Cancellation Policies: You are bound by each vendor's stated terms
We strongly recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance to protect against your own cancellations.
6.3 Provider Performance & Service Quality
Chic Trip acts as your procurement agent only and is NOT liable for:
· Quality, cleanliness, service standards, or amenities of hotels
· Food quality, service standards, or cuisine of restaurants
· Service professionalism or performance of tour guides
· Airline delays, cancellations, overbooking, or lost baggage
· Attraction closures, restricted access, or operational changes
· Transportation delays, accidents, or service failures
· Any disputes or conflicts between you and any provider
Your recourse is directly with the service provider, not Chic Trip.
6.4 Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Chic Trip's total liability exceed the amount of the management fee you paid ($20 USD × number of days).
Chic Trip shall NOT be liable for:
· Indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages
· Lost revenue, travel expenses, or missed experiences
· Emotional distress or reputational harm
· Costs related to trip cancellations or service failures
· Third-party claims or disputes with providers
· Force majeure events (pandemics, natural disasters, political instability, terrorism)
6.5 Travel Insurance Requirement
You are strongly encouraged to purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering:
· Trip cancellation and interruption
· Medical and emergency evacuation
· Personal liability and property damage
· Baggage loss, theft, and delay
· Travel delay and missed connections
Travel insurance is your protection against financial loss; Chic Trip provides procurement and coordination services only.
7. OPERATIONAL SUPPORT & BUSINESS HOURS
7.1 Support Availability During Your Trip
· Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM CET, Monday-Friday
· Channels: Email, WhatsApp, phone
· Response Time: Within 2 hours during business hours
· Services: Booking modifications, logistical questions, minor itinerary adjustments, provider coordination
7.2 After Hours & Emergency Support
· Emergency contact available for critical issues (medical emergencies, security concerns, transportation failures)
· Non-emergency inquiries addressed when business hours resume
· Response to emergency emails within 30 minutes
7.3 Support Limitations
Chic Trip provides coordination and booking assistance only, not:
· Financial compensation for service failures
· Direct intervention or mediation with providers
· Replacement of services at no additional cost
· 24/7 concierge services
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & USAGE RIGHTS
8.1 Our Content Ownership
All content provided through The Hybrid—including the itinerary, curated recommendations, maps, guides, photography, descriptions, and proprietary procurement methodology—is the exclusive intellectual property of Chic Trip.
8.2 Your License Grant
You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to:
· Access and view your itinerary for personal trip planning
· Download and store one personal copy on your device
· Use the information to enjoy your trip
· Share your itinerary with immediate travel companions on the same trip
· Access the Chic Trip app for your trip logistics
8.3 Strict Prohibitions
You explicitly agree NOT to:
· Reproduce, copy, or duplicate the itinerary (in whole or part)
· Share, distribute, resell, or republish the content
· Post the itinerary or content on social media or public platforms
· Use the content for commercial purposes or competitive analysis
· Create derivative works based on Chic Trip's methodology
· Share access to the Chic Trip app with other users
· Use The Hybrid content to plan trips for others commercially
8.4 Consequences of Violation
Unauthorized use will result in:
· Immediate suspension of app access
· Legal action to enforce intellectual property rights
· Potential damages and injunctive relief
· Reporting to platforms for copyright violation
9. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES & ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
9.1 Your Responsibilities
You acknowledge and accept that:
· You will provide accurate information in your travel profile
· You will review and approve all bookings before execution
· You will honor all approved bookings and comply with provider policies
· You will arrange appropriate travel insurance
· You will verify visa and passport requirements for France
· You will maintain copies of all confirmations
· You will respect local laws and cultural norms
· You will immediately notify Chic Trip of any booking errors
9.2 Communication & Responsiveness
· Chic Trip may need to reach you for approval or updates during planning
· You commit to responding to requests within 24 hours
· Delays in your response may impact planning timelines
· Final approvals are locked once executed—changes subject to provider policies
9.3 Payment Authorization
By using The Hybrid, you authorize Chic Trip to:
· Charge your payment method for the management fee
· Charge your payment method for all approved third-party services
· Initiate refunds to your original payment method if applicable
· Process payments securely via Stripe
10. DATA PROTECTION & PRIVACY (GDPR)
10.1 Personal Data Collection
Chic Trip collects and processes:
· Name, email, phone number
· Travel profile information (preferences, budget, dietary restrictions)
· Payment information (processed via Stripe; NOT stored by Chic Trip)
· Booking and reservation details
· App usage data and technical logs
· Communication records
10.2 Legal Basis for Processing
Your data is processed for:
· Contract Performance: Providing The Hybrid service and managing bookings
· Explicit Consent: Marketing communications and service improvements
· Legal Compliance: Tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations
· Legitimate Interest: Service improvement and fraud prevention
10.3 Data Retention
Personal data retained for:
· During Service Period: Throughout booking execution and 12-month app access
· After Expiration: 3 years for tax and legal compliance
· App Logs: Deleted after 12 months of inactivity

Chic Trip reserves the right to:
· Modify or discontinue The Hybrid package with 30 days' notice
· Update the app interface and features at any time
· Change pricing for future purchases
· Substitute provider recommendations if originals become unavailable
· Temporarily suspend services for maintenance
· Refuse service to users who violate these terms
Your continued use after notification indicates acceptance of modifications.
12. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
12.1 Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by French law and European Union law, independent of your location.
12.2 Jurisdiction
· For French/EU Residents: You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France
· For International Clients: You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of Paris courts for dispute resolution
· Consumer Protection: EU consumers retain rights under their country of residence's consumer protection laws
12.3 Language
These Terms are provided in English. Any translation is for convenience only; English version controls.
13. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
13.1 Informal Resolution (30 Days)
Before formal proceedings, parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation for at least 30 days.

15. FINAL PROVISIONS
15.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the complete agreement between you and Chic Trip regarding The Hybrid. Any prior discussions or representations are superseded.
15.2 Amendment
Chic Trip may modify these Terms at any time. Modifications are effective upon email notification.
15.3 Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, that provision is severed while all other provisions remain in full effect.
15.4 No Waiver
Failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver of that right.
15.5 Non-Agency Relationship
No partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and Chic Trip beyond the procurement agent appointment in these Terms.
15.6 Electronic Communications
You consent to receive all legal notices and communications via email. Electronic communications satisfy all written notice requirements.
16. ITINERARY ACCESS DURATION
The digital itinerary (or itineraries) provided as part of this package shall remain accessible to the Client via the Chic Trip platform (chic-trip.com) for a period of eighteen (18) months from the date of payment confirmation.
After this 18-month period, access to the itinerary may be deactivated without prior notice. The Client is encouraged to download or export their itinerary in PDF format before the expiration of this access period.
This access duration applies to the digital consultation of the itinerary only and does not affect any PDF documents previously downloaded by the Client.
17. ACKNOWLEDGMENT & ACCEPTANCE
BY COMPLETING YOUR PURCHASE OF THE HYBRID, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE:
· You have read and fully understand these Terms
· You understand The Hybrid operates under a Disbursement Mandate model
· You understand Chic Trip acts as your procurement agent only
· You understand the management fee is non-refundable after planning commences
· You understand all third-party costs are billed at net provider rates with zero markup
· You understand third-party cancellation policies apply to all bookings
· You will obtain adequate travel insurance
· You assume responsibility for approving all bookings before execution
· You understand Chic Trip is not liable for provider performance
· You accept all limitations of liability stated herein
Your purchase constitutes legal acceptance of all terms stated above.
